John 20:24-31 - Does Christianity Demand Blind Faith?

This coming Sunday, May 5th,  Lord & Savior Lutheran in Crystal Lake will welcome a guest speaker, retired Pastor Mark Anderson. He will preach on John 20:24-31, the familiar story of “doubting” Thomas.

His sermon theme will be “Does Christianity demand blind faith?”

  1. Not true in the case of Thomas

  2. Not expected of us.

John 13:34b - Honor your Lord!

The following Sunday, May 12th, is Mothers’ Day and the fourth Sunday in the Easter season. Pastor David Carlovsky will preach on a single instruction, delivered by Jesus to his disciples the night before he was crucified: "As I have loved you, so you must love one another" (John 13:34b). Pastor Carlovsky will provide thoughts on what the Lord has done for mothers, fathers, sons and daughters; and the honor due to him.

The sermon theme will be “Honor your Lord! He’s your love, your life, your all!”
