Mrs. Gregory has served at Lord and Savior for 2 years as an aide and substitute teacher. This is her 3rd year here but her first year as the teacher of our Little Lambs preschool. She has been in the childcare field for 16 years. She received her associate degree from McHenry County College and her Early Childhood Teaching Certificate from Ashworth College. She has a passion for Early Childhood Education and sharing Jesus’ love with her students. Mrs. Gregory has been married for 14 years to her husband Don and they reside in Crystal Lake. They have three children that attend Lord and Savior Lutheran School, Isabelle (7th grade), DJ (4th grade) and Olivia (1st grade). Mrs. Gregory’s interests are reading, running, God’s word and enjoying time with family and friends!
Kindergarten - First Grade Teacher
Miss Stuebs received a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Parish Music from Martin Luther College. In May 2016, she was assigned to teach K-1 at Lord and Savior Lutheran in Crystal Lake, IL. A strong advocate for the arts, she involves her students in using artistic expression to recognize the beauty of God’s creation and to praise the Lord with their voices. Along with pursuing her passion for the arts, Miss Stuebs’ professional interests focus on neurological development in children and brain-compatible learning. Her interests include exploring new hiking and cycling trails, wandering into museums, and upcycling furniture, clothes, and décor.
Second - Fourth Grade Teacher
Miss Doletzky received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Dr. Martin Luther College. She was assigned to teach 1st and 2nd grades at Immanuel Lutheran in Kewaunee, Wisconsin. After four years, she took a Call to teach at. St. John Lutheran in Libertyville, Illinois, where she taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade for eight years. She then took a Call to St. Paul Lutheran in Muskego, Wisconsin, where she taught 2nd and 4th grade for eleven years. She presently is Called to teach at Lord and Savior Lutheran in Crystal Lake, Illinois, where she teaches grades 2 - 4. Miss Doletzky has a passion to teach children about their Savior, training them to be servants of Christ in everything they do, making learning fun, and to watching them grow not only physically and academically, but more importantly spiritually. Some of her interests include playing organ for church, bikng, traveling, and relaxing by the water.
Fifth - Eighth Grade Teacher
Shannon Eggers is a 2017 graduate of Martin Luther College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Instrumental Music Education. She has worked as a camp counselor, music educator and a theatre director. She has also worked in multiple clinical experiences in classrooms ranging from Kindergarten to seniors in high school. Shannon is a supporter of the arts, a lifelong learner, and hopes to instill that in her students as they strive to serve God with the gifts he has given them. She believes in making the classroom a hands-on learning space in order to teach students to take control of their learning beyond the classroom. In her spare time, Shannon loves to read, listen to all kinds of music, drink coffee and tea, and travel!
Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Martin Luther College in May 2004 as well as a MN teaching license. She was assigned to teach at Lord and Savior the following school year and has remained active in the congregation ever since, such as helping with Sisters in Christ. While serving at Lord and Savior, Michelle helped with an array of extra responsibilities besides teaching, such as Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart, book clubs, school music, and helping in the office during staff transitions. She taught various classroom setups for kindergarten through second grade until she resigned in 2013 to be a stay-at-home mom. Even after leaving the classroom full-time, Michelle has stayed involved in education as a substitute teacher, mentoring beginning teachers, and maintaining her teaching license. Michelle married Mike, who graduated from Lord and Savior back in his day. They have three girls, Lydia (4 years old), Anna (2 1/2 years old), and Rebecca ("Becca", 1 year old). Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing with movies, playing piano, cross-stitching, traveling, and most of all, God's Word through Bible studies and worship.
